Sep. 9th, 2008 07:59 am9 September 2008--the first morning that I gave the house a shot of heat before getting ready for work. Temp in the hallway at the time--65F.
Saw dogs' breath while walking them this morning.
It is supposed to warm up during the week. This is only a taste.
Not ready.

Date: 2008-09-09 07:57 pm (UTC)I am not ready for cold yet either. There are still pounds of tomatoes on the vine.
My bramble still has a quart of blackberries on the vine.
I've enjoyed my after dinner walks, and don't want to have to walk during the day.
I've enjoyed listening to the crickets, the cicadas, and the frogs.
I don't want my farmer's market to close down for the winter.
I refuse to look at those leaves that are starting to turn.

Date: 2008-09-10 04:20 pm (UTC)Kim is scheduled to be at work on Saturday, but the city might close all offices for the day, as a guess. If they don't, it'll be just me and the furry folk chillin'. I hope Tank can chill during high winds. He can't during thunder but this'll be their first big storm.
It should be interesting.
