9 September 2008--the first morning that I gave the house a shot of heat before getting ready for work. Temp in the hallway at the time--65F.

Saw dogs' breath while walking them this morning.

It is supposed to warm up during the week. This is only a taste.

I hate the shortening of the days most. It's not even 7pm cst, and the sun is behind the trees.
