9 September 2008--the first morning that I gave the house a shot of heat before getting ready for work. Temp in the hallway at the time--65F.

Saw dogs' breath while walking them this morning.

It is supposed to warm up during the week. This is only a taste.

I would take a few degrees, at least until my tomatoes ripen. Given the cold spring we had, another month of hi 70s/lo 80s would be heaven.
