Things done
Jul. 24th, 2011 02:57 pmGrocery shopping this morning, followed by a trip to Sports Authority to look at treadmills. They had the model I picked out when I searched online, a lower-end folding model with automatic incline. I opted for delivery w/ installation, and should hopefully be on the jog again by the end of the week if not sooner.
Home. Made hummus for the first time, a simple version to which I added some red pepper flakes, mint, and parsley. It's garlicky as hell, but good. One more thing that I will make from scratch instead of buying at the store.
I need to do some day job stuff sometime today, but right now I'm kicking back and watching Prisoner of Azkaban. Dinner will be a turkey salad sandwich. We've gotten a break from the worst of the heat over the last couple of days because of the waves of t-storms that have moved through, but it's still muggy. Not a hot meal kind of day.
Busy weekend, overall. Productive, but yanno, I could use a few days off.

Neville's parents
Jul. 24th, 2011 08:50 pmAre Frank and Alice Longbottom dead, or are they in some sort of asylum, never to be released? I'm wondering because in the movies I hear references that they suffered a fate worse than death. There's also the fact that Neville can't see the thestrals, but if he wasn't present when his parents died, assuming they died, then he wouldn't have been able to. I think.
