Monday morning this 'n' that
Sep. 28th, 2009 10:00 amRain has pushed through. It's sunny now, but it's also windy. Much cooler. Had to use the furnace for a little while this morning. Allergies are killing me. I took a 24-hour tab, but it takes it a while to start working.
Took Gaby to the vet to have her staples removed. Before we left, I cut off her t-shirt, which had stretched out into an undershirt, complete with holes and stains. She seemed so happy to get rid of it--first she stretched, then leapt around like a little pogo stick leggy girl. Her wound is healing well. She still shouldn't lick it, so I will keep dabbing antibiotic ointment on it, then cap it off with Bitter Apple.
Came home and dropped off Gaby, then went to the local drugstore to get a flu shot. I had scheduled one at the day job, but that app't is two weeks away and I wanted to get the shot before I traveled. I know it takes 2 months to really kick in, but still.
I wasn't going to do laundry last night, but I did it anyway. Dragged up a suitcase. I hate to pack. It helps that I don't have to worry about airport, but I still hate it. I always think I'm going to forget something vital, like the A/C power cord for the MacBook.
