Given that when they smell blood, the press can actually do its job...

Does anyone out there think they could survive a real VP-level vetting? Or would you take a pass, either because you wouldn't want the intrusion or because there's stuff in your past that wouldn't pass muster (you don't need to say which, of course)?

Gaby has worn criss-cross trails through the backyard lawn. She patrols in a certain way, along the back fence, behind the garage, then back, each time she goes outside, and she runs in the exact same places every time. Another week of this and the grass will be gone.

I wish I could get her to wear away the weeds.

I haven't followed college football much in the past. The college I attended, University of South Florida-Tampa, didn't have a team while I was there. They have one now, though. So far this year, the Bulls are 5-0, and ranked #10 in both the AP and USA Today polls.

1803 words. I wanted to break 2K, but I've run out of gas, and I need to get to bed so I can get up in 6 hours.

Today's production was OK. Friday and Saturday--not so hot. Pushing along.
