Does anyone out there think they could survive a real VP-level vetting? Or would you take a pass, either because you wouldn't want the intrusion or because there's stuff in your past that wouldn't pass muster (you don't need to say which, of course)?

When I was on city council here, none of us got a salary (for instance), so none of us was worth bribing, and I'm the one who exposed an attempt at what I considered (and so did state law) undue influence.
