Given that when they smell blood, the press can actually do its job...

Does anyone out there think they could survive a real VP-level vetting? Or would you take a pass, either because you wouldn't want the intrusion or because there's stuff in your past that wouldn't pass muster (you don't need to say which, of course)?

For VP, as is, of course not! There is a whole slew of things that wouldn't be suitable!
