a short update
Jun. 8th, 2010 07:12 pmThe iPad arrived today. So far, I have connected it to my wireless, downloaded the iBook app, and synced my Mobile Me account...although my calendar doesn't seem to have moved. Can't access all my email yet because as usual I am having trouble setting up the account. I thought sync'ing would handle all that, but apparently not.
Not crazy about the Safari interface, although I'm sure there are ways to dress it up. I plan to use it mostly as an eBook reader, so if I can't make everything work, no worries. But I would like all my email. I can read SFFNet Mail on the web server, but I can't access my newsgroup for some weird reason.
