It's a school night.

I really shouldn't be watching Kill Bill Vol 2.

Oh well. Only 40 minutes to go. I've come this far....

The movies are raw and violent and over the top, but I find some sequences stunning. I can watch them over and over. Other Tarantino films don't interest me, but I like these a lot.

It's not Bill so much as Uma Thurman (the protag) and Lucy Liu (one of the antagonists, who is actually in Vol 1). David Carradine is strangely attractive as Bill, but I can't forget how he died in real life, and it affects how I look at him.

I haven't seen any movies in the genres that Tarantino pays homage to with these films, but I don't think it's necessary.

I think I will watch something light and funny this weekend.
