I think I will watch something light and funny this weekend.

Date: 2011-07-15 02:26 am (UTC)O-Ren is a favorite character, despite her brutality. We learn so much about her background, the love she felt for her parents and the way their loss warped her. For that reason, she's the closest to a mirror image of Bea; they both loved, and lost. I know Tarantino's story timelines are not linear, and he does give over the bulk of KBv1 to their confrontation. But I can't help but think their battle should have been Bea's penultimate, not the second.
