The patient is home
Jun. 6th, 2011 12:52 pmI let Gaby off lead when we entered the backyard. She did her usual check of the birdbath area, then sniffed around. But it's hot, and she was thirsty and tired, so she came right inside. She's asleep on the couch now.
King was happy to see her. But now I think he wants lunch, and I want to hold off for a while. Gaby hasn't eaten since 6 y'day evening. Not a big gap, but I would like to try to feed her. She may not want to eat until tonight, but I have to try.
I have a bunch of instructions and info to read. The nurse said that it may never happen again. No one can say. Very much a step-by-step thing.
I'm hoping for "never happen again," personally.
