I am now the owner of Extremely Red flannel sheets, which arrived yesterday. I laundered them last night. Blasted things shed enough fuzz to make a fair sized blankie. But they are now clean and fresh-smelling. I will put them on the bed this weekend.

The more I see the salary-cap battered Blackhawks, the more they remind of the 2007-2008 gang. Almost, but not quite there. I will be surprised if they make the playoffs, amazed if they do well. I would be thrilled to be so amazed, but I'm not expecting it.

The Bulls look decent so far this season. After the last few years, it's strange to think, "Hey, the Bulls are on. Cool."

Possibility of snow tomorrow. No clue how much, if any, I may see.

Holiday cards have been sent. For once, I'm ahead of the game.

Bell's Best Brown Ale is pretty good. And there's an owl on the bottle, which makes it even better.

I did have it before, but I can't recall which variety. Oberon Ale? Winter White? The grocery stores only seem to carry one variety at a time.

I wish I could find the oatmeal stout. I love a good oatmeal stout.

I became the owner of Extremey Red Flannel Sheets two years ago and they're still my favorite ones. And yeah...if you toss them in the dryer make sure to clean your lint catcher afterwards. LOL
