The daffodils are about 2-3 inches tall. Lawns are greening. The robins are back in force and folks are spring-cleaning their yards...and we're under Winter Storm Warning until tomorrow afternoon as the storm that buried folks out west heads in our direction.

Snowfall rates are expected to hit up to 2-3 inches an hour. No idea what those of us who are closer to the lake could end up with--there's a lakeshore flood advisory because of the winds that will honk down the length of the lake, but whether they will serve to push the snows back?

It's sunny now. Mid 30s. One good thing about the storm holding off is that I will be able to get King to and from the vet in the dry. After I get him home, I will get the grocery shopping done. Probably fill up Kuro. Then I'll hunker down for the duration.

The ground was just starting to dry out. Now it will be a mess of mud and slush again. Guess I will dig the snow shovels out of the garage.

::damn::

We NEVER had snow in March before. If we had snow, it was in late Nov. through early Feb. Now we have warm to hot Nov-Dec-Jan, a freeze or two in Feb, and severe cold mixed with T-storms in March and April. Followed by no rain in the month that used to be our rainiest, May.
