Regretfully, Christian Bale is one of those actors I have an allergy to. There's something in his face that just makes me want to look away. The only time I haven't had this reaction to him was in Reign of Fire, where his face was mostly hidden under a beard. It's okay when he's playing a bad guy, but as Batman...no.
I had the feeling that Batman Begins was a good movie, but the presence of clean-shaven Mr. Bale made it unwatchable for me.
