It's always kinda funny when the images of ARCs that sellers post on eBay display the "Not For Sale" sticker to best advantage.

I've always wondered why some criminals flaunt their crimes. Is it that big of a rush to say "nyah nyah, I know it's wrong, I'm doing it anyways, and see, I'm not even *trying* to hide what I'm doing!"?

On a different note, is Ebay increasing the rate at which property rights are ignored, or is it simply highlighting the natural progression of what was already occuring?

I think eBay, and any other venue that sells used books and other similar things, is just going along with flow. I wonder if the folks who invented the internet even considered the possibility that one of its main uses would be as the world's largest swap meet?
