A small lump with swelling over my right achilles tendon. Tender to the touch. Blew up just wonderfully after today's attempt at 2 miles.

Yes, I warm up beforehand. I walk 10-15 minutes before I start to jog.

I can't tell you how PO'd I am with my body right now. Because I don't weekend warrior it. I don't push it to extremes. I find something I like to do and I take it slow and *&&^%$# if it doesn't backfire.

I'm pretty sure the high heel tag on the shoes is to blame. Found several sites that tell you how to cut the shoes in order to reduce the pressure of the tag. Just need to gird myself to cut into the shoes. I mean, I'm not really losing anything. I can't even wear the things around the house given the level of irritation that results.

I am hoping this resolves into no more than an annoyance.
