I heard rumors of more snow on Sunday--maybe a dusting, maybe more--so I changed my Genius Bar res to tomorrow and kicked another vacation day over the side. It will be a grey day, but even so I'm looking forward to the drive. Maybe a nice cuppa somewhere, and some people-watching. Hoping the wireless issue turns out to be router-related. A simple fix.
Spent the evening toting up tax receipts. After that, I get to fill out my CPA's tax worksheet, and insert all my numbers into little boxes. I hope I can get the stuff in the mail on Saturday. That would be a month sooner than last year, and a big weight off my shoulders.
Will this be the year that I finally, finally, set up my spreadsheet ahead of time and enter stuff on a monthly basis and thus avoid this annual sort-through-all-the-little-slips-of-paper purgatory? Well, I haven't done it yet.
I'm pondering whether or not to go to Wiscon this year. I have my membership and all, and I do like Madison a lot. But I would also like to go to WFC, and one less trip on the ledger would make my inner money manager happy. I give her little enough to cheer about as it is. So. Thinking it over.
And there will be writing, and day job stuff, and a little grocery shopping, and hopefully one or two of the recipes I found on Madame My Agent's
foodie website. And so will this weekend feel about a day long, as have all the others so far this year.
