It's "artisan bread", not "artesian bread".

We did not bring it up from the bottom of a well.

I happen to think I'm more of an economic conservative, usually on days when I'm not actively po'ed about something.

But then there are days when I just want to break everything and start over, so there you go.

Hmmmm... )

And today I brought home my guitar instructor's spare acoustic, which I used today during my first classical lesson. The first few lessons will be spent on the right hand only, learning various picking/strumming techniques. If this works out, I will be on the lookout for an acoustic-electric built along electric lines--narrower neck, cut-out to allow for easier reach of the upper (lower?) part of the fretboard. Steel or nylon strings? Nylon sounds softer, but I'd go with steel if the guitar met the size/cut-out specs.

I don't need a premier guitar at this point. I have to keep telling myself this.

Poor Spike, my Peavey Falcon. He won't be cased forever, but I don't think I'll be playing him for a while.
