Something new
Sep. 19th, 2005 07:41 pmAnd today I brought home my guitar instructor's spare acoustic, which I used today during my first classical lesson. The first few lessons will be spent on the right hand only, learning various picking/strumming techniques. If this works out, I will be on the lookout for an acoustic-electric built along electric lines--narrower neck, cut-out to allow for easier reach of the upper (lower?) part of the fretboard. Steel or nylon strings? Nylon sounds softer, but I'd go with steel if the guitar met the size/cut-out specs.
I don't need a premier guitar at this point. I have to keep telling myself this.
Poor Spike, my Peavey Falcon. He won't be cased forever, but I don't think I'll be playing him for a while.
