A 55-minute walk today, 17 minutes of jogging at 4.2 mi/hr bracketed by walking at 3-3.2 miles/hr.

I think the running portion comes out to 1.2 miles.

Never Fear!

Your resident mathematician is here to rescue you! I calculate that altogether you walked/ran 3.21 miles. This is taking the high end of the walking miles per hour that you gave.

Disclaimer: All math was done in a notepad without the aid of a calculator, so all bets are off. *grin*

Saved!

I forgot there was a professional out there.

My biggest concern was that middle 17 minutes at 4.2. I'm psyched that I ran over a mile at a slightly faster pace. And the overall distance is good, too. Explains why I'm losing weight.

I hope I can keep this up when I go back to the *ick* day job.

It's good to use my degree for something occasionally.

Good luck with the day job! I spent the weekend prepping for mine, so total sympathies.
