Handbags. Kate Spade handbags. Deep cherry red. With puppies on them.
Does the discounted eBay price count for nothing, she asked?
Weak! declaimed the chorus. Self-indulgent! Immediate gratificationist!

Date: 2005-06-28 11:48 am (UTC)I never should have done the semi-regular eBay reconnoiter. I had just done Prada, which was comfortably beyond reach. But I love Kate's colors--I have a hot pink Travis bag already--and well, I am a bit of a dog person. I just should have looked a little longer, because as soon as I Bought It Now, I found that I could have saved $20 with another seller.
After I bought, it was off to Bluefly to see if they had it cheaper--why I do this to myself, I'll never know. Found matching cosmetic/doohickey bags, and, well, bought one.
It was that blasted doggie face that did it. So much like a Thurber hound...
