Injecting medical geek-speak into John Shroud's mouth. He lives and breathes the stuff, and is already giving me the fish-eye concerning some of my wording.

"Just go with it for now," I tell him. "I'll fix it later."

He appears skeptical.

You know, for a moment there I thought John Shroud was a real person. I was thinking, where do I know that name from. He must be a famous doctor, what did he do again? Then I remembered :)
