ksmithHeading up to Madison Wisconsin tomorrow for Wiscon. Looking forward to seeing friends and eating out, walking along State Street and doing something impetuous. Last year, it was hair--had 6-8" whacked off and had the remainder highlighted. Now the hair is back to brown and is as short as it's gonna get, so we'll have to try something else. A manicure, maybe. The claws need work.
I'll be taking the iBook, and I know that, as of last year at least, the Concourse didn't charge much for internet access beyond the dial-out charge. So I will try to post a trip report or two as I go--I forget too much when I wait until the end of the con.
I've packed copies of all 4 books in case one of the dealers in the hucksters room needs copies. I have topped off the bookstore bag with bookmarks, bookplates, and working pens. Now all I have to pack is the hoo-hum stuff like clothes and makeup.
