There's something odd about receiving Samuel Pepys' diary entries via LJ. You could forget yourself and think he's actually posting--I mean, we can leave comments and everything.
I do occasionally think he's posting. Then I get *really* confused when his day of the week doesn't match up with my day of the week, when the dates are the same! :)
Problem is,now I'm wondering whether there are any more interesting historical diaries out there to subscribe to. Just what I need to do, expand the timesink. Make it a timetub, or something.
