I think I'm about halfway through packing. The nice thing about driving is that I don't have to worry about how I'm going to fold/roll up the trouser suits and shirts. I can just tuck them in a couple of hanger bags and lay them flat over the back seat. That leaves me time to go through the toiletry bags and dump old shampoos and other little bottles, souvenirs of hotels past. Organize everything. Make sure I have the cords and chargers and batteries and all the other techno-stuff I need for the notebook, camera, PDA, and cellphone.

I polished some sterling silver jewelry that I hadnt worn in years, and tucked that away. Picking through the makeup will be tomorrow's task

Please don't let me forget my maps, or all the brochures and Festival lit and tickets and such.
