I went to the local big box intending to buy only a mattress cover and pillow covers. But the organize bug kept nibbling, and checkout found me with a cart filled with a couple of rugs for my bedroom, a freestanding tiny closet/clothes storage thingy that I will use for sweatshirts and other things from my closet that I won't be wearing until fall, a double pole rack on which to hang clothes taken from the dryer, a sewing kit, a hanger hook array that I can hang from a door, and a very inexpensive (read cheap) doormat for the spot in the living room where Herself on occasion relieves herself.

I looked at living room curtains, bathroom rug sets, closet organizers, and pretty storage baskets, but stopped myself. I need to back off for a while. I intend to coast on the week's accomplishments for at least two months.
