Yes, there was a Day 2 and it was very good, but I will skip ahead to today, the high point of which was an hour and a half or so of this:

OMG. (My teeth-grinding and sighs should be audible from Texas to Wisconsin! Also the toxic green glow of serious envy.)

It was the Good Omens talk. Neil's appearance wasn't in the program, but the rumors had been circulating that he would make an appearance and the lines started early and the room--actually several adjoining rooms with wall partitions removed--was packed. I was given a great seat--second row front and center--thanks to Denise, Dave, and John K.

It was just very cool. Running commentary and tales about the writing (and selling) of GOOD OMENS by two good friends. It was a gift.

I thought that was Neil. Very cool. You're going to go home all fired up now. '-) That's what good conventions do.
