The emergency vet's office provides a copy of the progress notes upon discharge. During her exam, one of the vets described Gaby as a "cute girl." Earlier, she was "bright, alert, and responsive." Someone else noted in the instructions that "She is a sweet girl!"

She is. This shouldn't have happened to her. Dammit.

She's still knocked out on the couch. Sometimes I check to see if she's breathing because I am an idjit.

I really hope it never happens again, even though I know that many dogs and cats have seizures, and are well-managed.
