ksmithI downloaded the latest batch of printer driver updates from Software Update, and on a whim decided to check the HP list. Paged down...down...and what to my wondering eyes should appear?
HP LaserJet 1100 - Gutenprint v5.2.3 5.2.3 Print

Does this mean that I can run my ancient parallel:USB adapted HP Laserjet 1100 off my MacBook? That would just be...so nice. It would also mean that I could still use that old warhorse even if my iBook dies. My 2004 iBook, which is still running Tiger because post-Tiger OS's would not support the adaptive connection.
I will try it out later. Will be braced for disappointment, but will soldier on regardless.
