A Thursday unlike other Thursdays

I was driving home for lunch when Kuro started acting up. At first I thought the floor mat was interfering with the gas pedal, because I was hitting the gas and not much was happening. So I shifted the mat, and it didn't help. Poor response to the pedal. Kuro would occasionally shudder and knock. If I took my foot off the gas, then pressed the pedal slowly, it helped. But it was still *slow way down* *shudder* *speed up finally* *WTF*??????

No dash lights came on until I backed into the driveway, at which point they *all* came on. It's possible that Kuro stalled at the moment I shut him off and removed the key, because the lights do come on in the case of a stall.

A little while later, I was able to drive him to the garage, although he did act up a little along the way. A friend is bringing me my laptop, so I can work tomorrow.

I hope it's a case of bad gas. This came on with NO warning. All was fine this morning. Nine years I've had this car, and this was the first real prolonged WTF incident.

Yikes! Hope it's easily (and cheaply) solved.

Me, too.

Fingers crossed it's just water in the gas line. That's fairly easy to fix, I gather.

Good to know it's an easy fix. I hope that's what it is.
