Um, Snape. The Odious Mr Slope. The romantic lead in Truly, Madly, Deeply. Sheriff of Nottingham in Kevin Costner's lousy version of Robin Hood. Bad guy in the first Die Hard movie. The "Spock" character in Galaxy Quest, Col. Brandon in the Emma Thompson version of Sense & Sensibility.
I don't see enough movies. And I don't pay enough attention to who plays what, obviously. Yes, Snape was very well done. Of the rest I've seen only "Galaxy Quest" and boy did I not make the connection between "Spock" and Snape. Thanks for the education. Will try to do better.
Erm, was that supposed to be a *video*? Because what I saw was that still of Mr. Cumberbatch with audio of the interview stuff...just wondering if my Mac is acting up, or maybe my provider...
You know, it was very short and I confess that I didn't check too closely. I just saw it mentioned on Twitter, and thought I'd post it. It is, admittedly, a trifle.
