...is now whipping. The light tree has already blown over once. I have it secured with metal stakes, but they were pulled out of the ground. Who knows what I'll find out there in the morning.

Fingers crossed the ground is wet enough to set the tree back upright again. And no major damage anywhere.

I put out the recycling for tomorrow's pick-up, but didn't secure it well. I'm afraid to look at how much junk mail got blown out of the bin and down the street.

I should add that the "light tree" is a tree-shaped spiral of Christmas lights supported by a metal post. Not a real tree.
