Taken from many...

List five fictional people -- from television, movies, books, whatever -- that you had a crush on as a child (or early teens). Then post this on your LiveJournal so other people can know what a dork you’ve always been.

David McCallum/Illya Kuryakin--I never watched Man From U.N.C.L.E. all that often, but the intense-looking blond always caught my eye. A formative years thing.

Burt Ward/Robin--ok, he was Gee Whiz and a little goofy. I was *8*, ok?

Patrick MacGoohan/Secret Agent/The Prisoner--to the eye-rolling puzzlement of some, but I always thought him quite quite quite.

Christopher Jones--*major* crush. A B-movie actor from the 60's-early 70's. I think his best known role was as Sarah Miles' lover in RYAN'S DAUGHTER. Rangy. Blond. Good bones. It stuck.

Green Arrow/Green Lantern--it's a mood thing. Early 60s. "Lover's Concerto" and "Downtown" on the radio, reading the Green Lantern/Green Arrow comic books my babysitter gave me. I don't recall either character's backstory or any of the storylines. It's just the images.

I also developed a crush of Lord Peter, but that came much later...

I am not a number, I am a free man!

Oooo, Patrick McGoohan. I would have put him on my list, but I didn't discover The Prisoner until college.

Illya Kuryakin is mine. You keep your grubby paws off him.

I'm not the only one you'll have to fight. I think he's on every list.

I'm surprised no one mentioned The Avengers yet.

I think it's a safe bet that I will have the Chris Jones British Officer all to myself. I shall muddle through somehow...

Yes, Illya, and Patrick MacGoohan, and I always thought Steed rather dashing, too--and I wanted to be Emma Peel.

Interestingly enough, Emma Peel was W's ideal woman. I'm afraid I'm not as tough as she was, but oddly enough, for a recent presentation, I looked a lot like her!

Weird...

I'm not sure how old I was when the original Battlestar Galactica came on, but for me, that show caused a major dilemma for me--namely,
Apollo or Starbuck?
Apollo (Richard Hatch)--dark, handsome, safe
Starbuck (Dirk Benedict)--blond, handsome, not at all safe
I loved them both!

Same here, though I loved Starbuck just a tad more.
