well now, this is curious. I played the video with our little black cat sat on the desk. I can't recall her ever reacting to something playing on the screen before. This had her intrigued.

And incidentally, given how steeply uphill and strewn with rocks this week is proving, I did need cheering and this did the trick. Many thanks for that.

I watched a NATURE program about dogs on Sunday, and the action on the screen--running and jumping dogs--captured King's attention. He's not much of a screen watcher, either--in the past, he's reacted to sounds, not sights. It was funny to watch him fix on the movement.
