LJ agent

For want of a better word.

I mostly post at the website, but I have used iJournal off and on for a few years. However, it hasn't been updated in a long time, and it lacks. Are there any other LJ agents out there?

There's DreamWidth (need a code for it, similar to what LJ used to have; if interested let me know I can provide one).

Thanks--I have a DW account already. I mean something like this, like Twitterific and the other clients--that's the word. Client--that folks use with Twitter.

I use Xjournal for straight LJ posts--it supports tags, which I like, where iJournal didn't the last time I tried it. I'm also using MarsEdit, which is a much slicker product but which is aimed primarily at Blogspot and that ilk. LJ has its own system which the MarsEdit developer feels is not worth his time to offer more than minimal support. So, I can post, but can't apply tags, moods, stuff like that.

I've also got Journaler on the iPad, but have only just tried a test post with it. It does do tags, but on the other hand it crashed on me while trying my little test post.

I was using XJournal for a time, but it crashed on me. I don't think it was compatible with an OS change--looks like it may have updated.

iJournal hasn't updated in years, and the lack of tag support is a drag.

Thanks for the tip about Journaler.

I may have missed the problem OS/Xjournal combination--I recently jumped from using Tiger (10.4) to Snow Leopard (10.6), when I got the new iMac and the office replaced my old Powerbook with a MacBook Pro. I don't think I've ever had an Xjournal crash.

I downloaded it. It looks different than the version I remember.
