Wildlife update

ksmithLarge hanging pot of little red bugle flowers means...hummers! The pot hangs by the back door, so I watched the little widget while I ate dinner. I loves them.
The singleton goose is gone. Haven't seen it for weeks, and did not see a spray of feathers anywhere on the expressway that would indicate a bad end. I think its mourning period ended, and it left.
Every so often, I would see a pair of geese in the same area and get excited, thinking that Singleton was pairing up again. But later, I saw a pair of geese at the same time I saw Singleton, so I guess s/he remained alone.
