I want to post this in case the Ark comes by later and I need to hitch a ride.

It's raining hard. It's been raining hard all night. 2-4 inches around here. Roads are closed due to flooding, the ground is beyond saturated. I was afraid to go in the basement, but I braved the journey. Surprised to see the leakage is minor so far. May that situation continue.

Gaby won't even go outside, that's how hard it's been coming down.Lawn is going to squish under my feet for a week.

Send it on down here. We've not had much in the past 6 weeks.

I think the forecast actually calls for some of what you're getting to make it down here. Well done!

I'd give you the whole blasted thing if I could. We went from a dry May to a saturated May in a couple of days.

I need to get Gaby outside, or there will be puddles in the living room, too. She does not possess King's iron bladder.

Three inches. More coming. Ugh.

No surprises at our house. At least I slept through most of the storms.

Yikes! Sending good thoughts your way and hoping that the basement issues remain minor.

Leakage proved surprisingly minor, and we got about 2.5-3 inches overnight. I think the amount of mulch that I had put down close to the window wells had something to do with it. It soaked up a lot of the water that would normally leak in.
