It's Thursday!

ksmithAnd given that I am taking a vacation day tomorrow, it's my Friday as well.
The warmth is back, at least for the next few days. 70s today. Could hit 80F tomorrow. I'm in shorts, Gaby is panting, and both she and King are on the bare floor for coolth. I just put on the A/C.
Made a quickie marinara tonight--half pre-made sauce/half fresh stuff--with mushrooms and roasted red peppers. Added a bunch o' sketti, which means I have dinner for the next few days. If I pick up some sliced turkey breast tomorrow, that will be lunch. I still have plenty of cookies, so I don't have to bake. Shouldn't have to cook much this weekend. More time to work.
Just watched the second Matt Smith episode thanks to On Demand. The story was just OK, but I still like Amelia and this new Doctor. It's funny. He's so young, but he plays old. He has an old voice. It serves the character well.
I saw the singleton goose again today. Got excited a few days ago because I saw another singleton fifty or so yards up the road from it, and hoped it meant something. But now we're back to one.
