Second day of vacation

ksmithShort form--it went by too damned fast.
I was up until 330am staking a chapter that absolutely refused to get writ, and determined to complete it before I allowed myself to sleep. Finished it--go me! To bed, then up at 730am to do the usual feed the pups/breakfast/email stuff before heading to the day job for a 10am meeting that I couldn't afford to miss. Home after 12 noon. Starved, so made myself a very big hamburger--Lasater ground beef flavored with Old Bay seasoning, diced red onion, and broiled. Med rare or thereabouts. Melted white cheddar atop. Toasted bun. Chips on the side. Very good.
Wanted to write, but still had errands to run. Bills to pay. Stuff to mail. Home again. Sat down with laptop, and kept dozing off. I've now had fresh coffee. Hope it helps.
I think I'm going to try and get some sleep tonight.
We had some rain last night. Today, weather was clear and sunny, but cool. It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow, so I may take some time to plant the lettuce seeds.
I get a week. I need a month. So it goes.
