A very cool article about Patti Smith--Fashion Icon, courtesy of paulwitcover over at theinferior4.

Chrissie Hynde is an icon of mine. Patti Smith, less so, but I do admire people who set their own style...especially when it is, at least in part, a style in which I would feel comfortable myself. White shirts, yes. Roomy jackets, yes. I would opt for boot leg jeans rather than peg leg in deference to my hips and preferred footwear, but I am all for the comfort and utilitarian ease.
