ksmith...since I updated writing progress. It's been spotty, but let's say:
Since the last time: 2159 words
Total: 26,818 words
Bracing myself for the fact that several pages have to be cut, which is one of the dangers of writing bits and pieces, then going back to fill in the gaps. New scenarios present themselves and push out old ideas. One sees exactly where rambling scenes can be trimmed.
Trimming is good. The chapter in question is going on far too long.
