It does me no good whatsoever to keep checking the weather sites. What will fall will fall. Latest WGN forecast for my area is 4-7 inches. Hoping it's closer to 4 than 7, since it's supposed to be the wet stuff that is such a joy to shovel.

I'll be getting up around 4am to see if I need to clean the drive. Looks like this Monday will be more Monday than most.

In a few weeks, I'll be starting my veggie seeds. Kind of hard to believe at the moment.

I understand what you mean, by the constant checking of weather sites - I think it's because we want to act, even though there's nothing for us to do. I hope this storm eases by you with a minimum of fuss!

Mindy, hoping to be able to park the car on the street by the end of this week!

After all the hugga-mugga, I think we wound up with about 3 inches of heavy snow. The storm moved through more quickly than the weatherfolk originally thought it would, and temps hovered around freezing.

I got up at 4 to shovel. Cleared the driveway. The roads to work were pretty much just wet. All that angst...
