It will mark 10 years since alfreda89 and I attended a WFC together, Schaumburg 1996 being my first and only foray thus far into the Fantasy side of the con Force.
Madison is a couple-hour drive for me. The Concourse is the Wiscon hotel. Steps from State Street, the walking street that runs from the UW campus to the Capitol. I've never been there in November. For all I know, the weather will be like it is now, rainy and sucky. But there's always the bar...
For WFC, we don't care about the weather. Just the company.
The plan is for a friend from Mpls to head on over to Madison and then bring me back there and we play with her Lipp and then I go home. If the SRS is in Chicago that weekend, we'll adapt.
The SRS is Obligatory. It's the Source, after all, fons et origo and all that. And there's Tempel in Wadsworth, which one visits if one is in the area. So. You know. I can't commit to Madison until I'm sure of the tour dates for the exhibitions.
But in 2006, with the usual disclaimers, I'll be in Austin with bells on.
