Friday morning

Getting ready for work. Pull a pair of pants out of closet. Pants had been tight several months ago. Decide to try them on anyway.

Pants are now loose. Not only that, but I found a well-laundered $17 in the pocket.

Hope this presages the rest of my day/weekend/year/life.

Yup. They know when you have money, or are counting on them to work, or are riding a bit of a luck wave.

I'm just glad I don't run chromatography equipment anymore because HPLC pumps always knew. Either that, or the columns acted up.
