Rain falling now--I can hear it ticking against the pine branches. They've downgraded the snow amounts for my neck of the woods to 2-4". My fear is that the rain will freeze overnight and the roads will be ice rinks come morning. I brought work home, just in case.

No mice trapping today.

The Gabster continues bouncy. Still no lab results. I will call tomorrow--if they've shown up, the hospital can fax them to me.

It's one of those nights where you're grateful to be indoors, no place you have to go. Warm. Roof over your head.

I am so grateful to have a warm dry place tonight. 1F and falling. The snow is so cold it's crunchy underfoot. There'll be another inch by morning.

Good luck with your roads. Ice storms are hell.
