ksmith: (snowflakes)

We were supposed to get an inch or so of snow overnight, but it fell elsewhere. We would up with a dusting. But. We are under Winter Storm Watch from tomorrow afternoon through Wednesday. I could wind up with 6-10 inches, depending on how the storm shifts.

This would be the first significant snow of the winter. November didn't prep us at all--we usually have at least one light snow toward the end of the month, but this November was one of the mildest on record. December appears ready to compensate.

It's not the snow that I mind, it's the trying to drive in it. We'll see how Wednesday goes.

It's 5F and 5" here. ::clutches teacup between icy fingers:: We haven't had this much snow this early in the year since I was a kid.

I hope you get a good snow.

I'd actually prefer less snow. Watched tonight's weather--that may be what I get. We'll see.

She was pretty bouncy in the dusting that we had.

Between snow and winds that follow, they may be cooped up for the next few days.

Then the temps drop. Hello, winter.
