Hawks lost to Colorado in a shoot-out. Given the Avs' hot streak at home, I'm surprised the Hawks played them as close as they did. I hope Toews comes back soon, because I just don't think the Hawks are the same without him.

Could hit 70F! this weekend. 60s at least, one hopes. That will give me a chance to get rid of the last of the leaves.

Windy night. Air smells fresh.

I've been fighting something off since last night. Stomach not quite right. Ears, nose, and throat feel funny. I felt well enough this evening to run. Hope that wasn't a mistake, but it felt good. Even so, I have the attention span of a whelk, so I think I'll just say g'night.

Given the amount of local coverage devoted to the Avs (next to none), it's hard to imagine them winning.

We got 70 today. I had a lovely walk.

The place they played wasn't anywhere near full, and the Blackhawk announcers commented that even though the Avs are having a great season so far, fans aren't coming out to see them. I would have felt sorrier for them if they hadn't beaten us.
