While it makes a sort of sense, I am surprised that a person of strong convictions would leave their pet with a non-believer. But, circumstances make odd bedfellows, apparently.

The Onion really is slipping more and more into real life.

Do Rapture believers have firm plans for those of us left behind to turn off all their stoves, feed and care for all of their animals, and clean up the mess they've left? If so, they'd better leave behind their keys. I don't see how someone can be happy in Heaven knowing Bossy the cow got left starving in the barn.
