ksmithRained yesterday afternoon. More this morning. We actually did need it, as July was on the dry side.
After the rain pushes through, the heat will follow. Mid 90s today and tomorrow, the first weekend with back-to-back 90s in two years. The rest of the week will be in the high 80s/90s, which I hope will lead to ripe tomatoes by next weekend. I'll also get to see how well the ceiling fan works to keep moisture from condensing on the ceiling. That will dictate how I prioritize the estimate for the installation of soffit and ridge venting that is sitting on the dining room table. I'd like to put it off for a month or two, since I still need to have the trees trimmed. Blasted carpenter ant domino effect.
Gaby also has her annual check-up next weekend. Even assuming all is well (fingers crossed), still talking $$.
